Meet Our Team

Ken Kirkes

Ken Kirkes is a Birmingham native and co-founder of Drytech Water Restoration. Recognizing that every restoration project is unique, Ken approaches each situation with professionalism, compassion, and a steady presence during what is often a stressful time for families. Alongside his dedicated team, he takes pride in helping customers recover from unexpected disasters and is grateful for the trust they place in Drytech. His focus has always been providing dependable service, clear communication, and lasting relationships with every customer.
 
A proud U.S. Air Force veteran, Ken's military career was marked by excellence. He earned Airman of the Month honors more than 14 times and was recognized as one of the Air Force's Most Outstanding Airmen at the Wing/Command level in 1989. The discipline, leadership, and commitment to service he developed during his military career continue to guide the way he leads the Drytech team and serves the community.
 
Outside of work, Ken is devoted to his family. He and his wife, Leilani, have been married for almost 30 years and are blessed with two children and four grandchildren. Whether spending time with family or serving customers, Ken believes in treating people with honesty, respect, and genuine care.

Adam Townsend

Adam Townsend is a co-founder of Drytech Water Restoration, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the water damage restoration industry. Known for his expertise, integrity, and commitment to serving others, Adam has built his career around helping homeowners and businesses navigate some of life's most stressful situations with confidence and care.

Originally from Rochester, New York, Adam moved to Hoover, Alabama, at the age of 10 and has proudly called the area home ever since. His deep roots in the community and passion for helping people have shaped the values behind Drytech Water Restoration: honest service, dependable workmanship, and treating every customer like family.
 
Throughout his career, Adam has earned a reputation for being highly knowledgeable in water mitigation, restoration, and the latest industry best practices. He believes that every job is about more than drying out a property, it's about restoring peace of mind for the people who call Drytech when they need help most.

When he's not serving customers, Adam enjoys spending time outdoors and making memories with his family. He and his wife, Megan, have been married for more than 10 years and are proud parents of four children, whose ages range from 9 to 18. Whether he's enjoying the outdoors or cheering on his kids, family remains at the center of everything he does.
